Industry and Civic Associations

Floyd is active in professional and civic organizations, where a strong commitment and sense of responsibility more often than not has resulted in a management position within the organization.  He serves as chairman of the volunteer board of Forty Plus of New York, the Manhattan-based flagship of a national non-profit organization that provides strategic career development and job search training for the older professional executive.  Has also held or is holding board or trustee level positions with Interstate Fire Protection, Crested Crane Coffee Company, the Naval War College Foundation, the Zoological Society of New Jersey, The Propeller Club and others, and volunteers with the South Street Seaport Museum.   He is invited regularly to Seton Hall’s Stillman School of Business as a guest lecturer, and has spoken to a number of other organizations on marketing, management, advertising, and related topics.
